As a business manager, how do you manage your business in tough times. The way you act and decide in tough times can shape your work life. When I'm talking about tough times, I don't mean situation that you can easily handle, that's why it's said though times.
You are either among those who sit back, relax and deeply look at the the situation technically from different angles, put yourself in shoes of the other to assess the situation as clear as you can, or, in the other hand, among those who, at the moment it happens you feel miserable and you think you knew this might happens, bad things always happens to you no matter how well you do it.
It's not always that clear which group you are in, you may be in both group but we usually tend to be in one group more than the other.
To be honest with you, I was clearly in the second group. Tough situations could easily effect my decisions and most of the times lead to bad decisions. Be aware, decisions you'll make at these times may not be exactly you want.
Next time when bad things happened, try to assess your mind and shift it to the first group as much as you can. Just remember we managers are paid just because we should think better than others in tough times. Handling a business in easy times is possible for all.
Good luck.

WARNING: I've heard that you should not update your phone by clicking the Update button of iTunes. Instead download iPhone 3.0 Firmware file (230 MB) and hold Shift key + Restore button and locate the file to upgrade.
JailBreak iPhone OS 3.0 3G
- Download redsn0w 0.7.2 (This is a torrent file, you'll need a torrent client to download it, use uTorrent.)
- Make sure you have installed iTunes 8.2.
- Update your phone by clicking the Shift key + Restore button on iTunes to update it.

Single Task Can Improve Your Productivity
People usually think the more they can multi-task, the more they will be productive. Well, this is true, but not always. Sometimes multi-tasking not only won't help you to be more productive, but also can lead to losing focus on the subject you're working on.
Single Tasking is working on one task at a time and don't go on any other until it gets finished. Sometime though, the current tasks needs sometimes to be completed without your action, or needs somebody's else action, ex: you have to download a very big file, or your server administrator needs to do some modifications on the server before you can upload it there. In situation like this, mark this task as Waiting and go to the other one until it gets finished and gets back to the first again.
I tried it and it really works plus, each tasks you finish, gives you more energy to do the others. But don't let this to make you start by the easy tasks, you'll lose the best of your energy on the simple tasks and you may not have enough for the tough ones.

What's New in iPhone 3.0
Finally the long-waiting iPhone 3.0 released on 17 June as planned by Apple. I was among those who downloaded and installed this firmware at the moment it released. Now after few days working with it, here is the features of it:
- The very cool feature of it is Searchability, You can now search the whole device in a seconds. The fist page of application list is a search page, which you can start typing the narrow the search result as you type. It searches in Emails, Notes, Contact lists, iPod Music & Videos,... plus you can prioritize the result. You have this search functionality in all applications too.
- Vertical keyboard is now available in Notes, Email, Text messaging and Safari, Previously it was only available in Safari.
- More languages are now supported, including Arabic and Persian (Which is my language). Although Persian is a complete language, but it's a subset of Arabic in iPhone 3.0. The big problem is when you type in Persian in big paragraph, typing becomes very slow.
- The Stock application is now has more features including news about each stock.
- You can record your sound with a very high quility. Note that you cannot record sounds in a on going call.
- Very stable Safari, with ability to open links in a new page.
- Copy/Past feature that I'm sure many people waited for it from version 1.0. You can copy past almost from anyware, including Notes, Email, Text Messages and Safari.
- Much faster startup time when you turn on your device.
- In camera, a thumbnail of the last taken picture will be shown in the left bottom cornet, tapping on it, shows the library.
- The limit for application pages is now 11 pages, previously 9 pages.
- Now all applications support PUSH technology. It's like a background functionality somehow. It means your applications can receive notifications even when they are not running.
- Shaking your device in iPod shuffle the playlist.
- Some other minor changes and bug fixes.
